How do I schedule an appointment with a doctor?
- Create a patient account here;
- You will receive a email confirming the account;
- You get to choose your preferred doctor, date and time for the appointment within the provided time frames. As the last step, the payment for the consultation is issued for a credit or debit card;
- As soon as the payment has gone through, you will receive an email confirming the scheduled consultation and the payment.
How do I prepare for the video consultation?
- Make sure you are either connected to a wireless network or have 4G signal;
- Install an up-to-date version of Zoom - https://zoom.us/download;
- Enter ‘ My account’ then the ‘Waiting room’ no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of the consultation to upload any medical tests you think necessary. Get acquainted with the platform. Zoom will open automatically at the scheduled time for the appointment;
- Make a list of questions you would like to ask;
- Within 24 hours from the end of the appointment you will receive a report and a medical prescription from the doctor;
How can I show the doctor my medical documents (medical reports, CTP, MRIs) ?
Enter the ‘Appointment Room’ on ‘My Account’ and choose the documents you would like to upload. After that, you will be able to see them online, and the doctor will be able to access them.
Can I use my account on more than one device?
Your account can be used on any device as long as you log in with your details. However, as soon as a consultation has started on one device this cannot paused and restarted on another one.
How do I know I am talking to a doctor?
All doctors are accepted on the platform exclusively on the basis of documents certifying their university qualification and medical practice certificates.
How can I delete my account?
By selecting the ‘delete account’ function. All your data stored on the platform will be deleted.
Can I create an account for my child?
Only 18-year olds and above should be able to create an account. In the case you’d like your child to be examined, create a separate account for him. Fill in his details and manage the account yourself.
Where are the online consultations available?
Digital Clinics consultations are available anywhere in the world.
What happens if I payed for a consultation and the doctor didn’t show up or cancelled the consultation?
If the doctor/therapist did not show up or cancelled the consultation you will receive an automated message cancelling the appointment and the money will be returned to you in full.
What happens if I am late to an appointment?
For delays greater than 10 minutes on your part for an appointment with a doctor and 20 minutes for an appointment with a therapist, the consultation can be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
If I am late to an appointment, will part of the money be returned to me?
In case you are late for the appointment - and use the remaining time to talk to the doctor, part of the money will not be refunded to you.
What happens if the appointment ends and I still have remaining topics to discuss with the doctor/therapist?
You can schedule a new appointment.
What happens if the consultation cannot happen due to my connectivity issues.
The cost of the appointment will not be reissued.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Cancelling appointments can only be done in the following circumstances:
- cancel with at least 24h before the start of the consultation so that no penalties are issued and you receive a full refund
- cancelling in-between 24 hours and 4 hours in anticipation of the appointment, only 75% of the value of the consultation will be refunded
- cancelling later than 4 hours before the consultation or in the case of no-shows, there will be no refunds issued.
Can I reschedule an appointment?
Rescheduling a consultation is possible one time, no later than 4 hours before its supposed start time.
How and when do I pay?
The payment of the service is made at the end of the scheduling process with a valid credit or debit card.
Is is safe to pay?
Payments are processed through the authorised payment processor Netopia, which ensures the safety of online payments.
